All of these make for some amazing birding!
The underparts of the Red-masked Parakeet are more yellowish than the upper parts, which are generally green.
The thighs, outermost underwing covers, carpal border, and bend of the wings are all crimson. Yellowish-green is the color of the underwing and under the tail.
Both adults are more yellow than Amazona festival, particularly on underparts; red frontal stripe extending to forehead and forecrown; feathers of crown and occiput edged dull purple; feathers of hindneck strongly edged dusty black (more so than a festival); Dolores black; feathers of cheeks edged violet/blue; primary coverts and outer webs of primary feathers green. As in adults but duller; green lower back and rump with a few red feathers; some dull red at concealed bases of lateral tail feathers. Eye brown. You can also buy parrot eggs online

Description
Similar in size to the Blue Front Amazon, Bodin’s Amazons have a distinguishing red back and crown, as well as a beautiful blue to violet-blue head. In the midst of the violet-blue are emerald green ear coverts. The beak is black.
Juveniles have a green back, paler overall color with less head coloration, and brown, not orange irises. The young also have the upper third of the outer three tail feathers maroon-red, whereas adults have them entirely green. Young birds get some red on the back at about five to six months of age.
The iris turns pale silvery gray at about the same time. At age of two colors are close to adult coloration except that violet blue on the head is less extensive. My breeding birds get some red feathers on their cheeks, breast, and abdomen during the mating season. My juvenile female from Florida is visibly smaller than my other hens of the same age and has much less blue on the head.
